History

Swahili lessons were once offered in 2012 by Joash Johannes in collaboration with Daniel Mundeva and Leaonard John. The name for the Swahili classes by then was “Karibu” which means “welcome” in Swahili. Karibu offered beginner’s level Swahili starting from September to December 2011, and then both beginner’s and intermediate Swahili were offered in January to April 2012. As you can see Karibu had three instructors.
